What is Zarda or Khaini?
Khaini and zarda are two names given to "Chewing Tobacco" or "Smokeless Tobacco". Widely used around the world in different forms and with different names, Khaini & Zarda are essentially a legacy of Indian culture. It is essentially raw tobacco mixed with exclusive fragrances & spices for achieving desired flavors.

What is the significance of the "701" brand?
Our "701" brand products are characterized by their unique aroma and flavor. Manufactured using the most modern of methods, the 701 brand is at the cutting edge of tobacco products. We use only the finest tobacco leaves as raw materials for production purposes. The treatment process is spread across two days allowing for a more mature aroma & flavor. Aromatic oils such as Rose, Sandal, Geranium and Linalool are added to give the tobacco its unique aroma. Al these factors go int making the 701 brand the finest in the industry.

Why are Zarda & Khaini Called "Smokeless Tobacco"?
This characterisation as "chewing tobacco" comes from the attempt to distinguish it from cigarettes & cigars, which are essentially smoked tobacco.

What is the difference between "Zarda" & "Khaini"
In Indian tradition, tobacco is mixed with hydrated lime (Calcium Hydroxide Ca(OH)2 to achieve desired tastes and flavors. Whereas Zarda represents tobacco that is later mixed with lime by the user, Khaini is a step ahead and provides the final mixture in a single package. Khaini represents the cutting edge in tobacco usage & is widely used for its wider range of fragrances & flavors & user-friendly nature.

The raw tobacco used in the manufacture of our Khaini product comes from our farms in Central & Northern Indian states like Uttar Pradesh etc. The ingredients that we use to flavor and spice Khaini have been used since the (additives and flavors) are a legacy of the tobacco traditions in India, in use since the 16th century.
